Brent...this is a known issue...it seems to occur more when shooting 720p60...workarounds include shielding camera from the direct sun,
powering down when possible(changing locations, etc), not a great situation for you in florida...i have not had any problems as of yet...
but i haven't left the camera powered up in the fla heat for an extended
period...not what you want to hear i'm sure....
