Music Video Playback, 5D Mark II

Hi all,

I'm going to be shooting a small music promo on the 5D mark II within the next two weeks and I'm just looking for a bit of help with a technical question...

I'm in PAL land so I'm going to be shooting with a view to a final 25fps edit and output. Since the 5D only shoots 30fps what's the best workflow bearing in mind playback on the day...

At the moment the way I have thought about doing this is making a 25fps timeline with the audio track, conforming this to 30fps in cinema tools, playing this back for the band to mime to and then conforming the final footage back to 25fps. Only problem with this approach is the song is very fast and I'm a bit worried about the performance suffering due to this....

Is there a way around this? Any help would be really appreciated!
