Can anyone provide real world feedback on using this cam successfully with FCP and OSX. Canon's requirements are elusive, and there are lots of net posts about FCP not recognizing the 1080f 24 HD capture device.

I have a Dual 2 PowerPc
OSX 10.4.11
FCP 5.0.1 (
3GB
2 drives, unstriped

I will build a box around what works like a charm for this cam, if anyone has one that hasn't given them grief!
