Jagged lines when capturing DV - please help!
by Alan Daly on Jul 11, 2008 at 3:00:39 pm

When I capture DV shot on a Canon XH-A1 to Final Cut (v5.0.4) it comes out jagged on lines and edges, yet it's fine in the log and capture preview window. A friend told me to import into iMovie 6, so I did and it's perfect(!!) but when I export it out for use in FCP, it's jagged again.
I'm using the Canon HX-A1 to capture.
I searched this forum and found a thread with same problem from a year ago, but nobody posted the answer.
I would really appreciate ANY advice. Thanks in advance.
Alan.
