Thanks for the advice Todd. I am wanting to speed up editing, and also be able to monitor 5.1 and monitor the video on an external screen. The extra inputs are more for the hire side of the studio. In reference the a video card with CUDA, if I added both the new card and Matrox does this improve preformace even more so, or does the fact I am using the Matrox make the CUDU irreverent? I also notices a main difference with color space between blackmagic eclipse and Matrox. Blackmagic support 4:4:4 and Matrox is 4:2:2. From a little research I am assuming the use of 4:4:4 is only if you intend editing from extremely high end cameras or film, would this be correct? Is it much of an issue for future proofing? Thanks again for the advice.
