Thanks for your speedy response!
The options still exist in the pulldown menus in both vegas and adobe. But when I choose to render an .mov, it flashes the render window very quickly (which shows time remaining for the render, a normal part of the process when its working correctly), and then does nothing. The file directory where I told the .mov to be saved contains nothing.

I actually had a pretty major data recovery on my computer, as my internal hard drive lost its partitioning. They (Microcenter) were able
to retrieve most of the files and copy them to a new hard drive. Its quite possible that something got lost in the process.

I have not tried re-installing the software yet. Im hoping its just a missing codec or something that I can download. My quicktime player will still play existing .movs, I just cannot create them...
