There is no direct upgrade from XP to Win7 you have to do a clean install like Todd mentioned, but you can use Win7 "EasyTransfer" to aid you with file and settings transfer, but will have to reinstall all the programs you want to run under winn 7, scroll down the page in the link below there is a tutorial about xfering XP to Win7
