Hi,

I am currently using a duel core C2D E7500 @2.93ghz, 3ghz RAM (I think it's 6400) and an onboard "Intel G45 Express Chipset". This has been alright for the work I've been doing so far (graphic design) but now I will be editing HD video using Sony Vegas. Could anyone just confirm whether the below upgrade would actually offer me a noticable improvement over my current setup, and also that it is compatible?

CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q8400 @ 2.66ghz
RAM: 4gb DDR2 6400 @ 5-5-5-18
GFX: NVIDIA GT 220
