Only possible solution is to download and install OpenOffice 2.x but I'm not sure if it will run on Win Me and PIII. Check at http://www.openoffice.org

It is open source freeware, and is compatible with MS Office version ????. in any case, OpenOffice will read, write, and save to MS docs, Excel files, and Powerpoint. I think the only version of MS Office it is not compatible with is the latest versions that save to the new MS document formats. Otherwise, works like a dream come true, for free.
