RAID 0 okay for having XP & Premiere Pro vid files on same drive?

I've just ordered an Alienware m9750 laptop (dual core 2.16GHZ, 2GB ram), which I plan to run Adobe premiere pro 2.0 with. I've got external drives to store my captured vid/audio files, buttt my Q is:

I got a RAID 0 that uses 2 x 200GB hard drives on the laptop. There are no further slots for drives on the laptop motherboard. Will I be able to use this RAID drive for any PP2.0 project files (scratch disks), along with the windows XP and prog files that must be stored on it? Or will having prog and project files on the same hard drive (even tho it's RAID) result in PP2.0 crashes etc?? Will I need to get rid of the RAID??
