DVD wont play
by Jerry Lee on Jun 17, 2009 at 3:17:29 am

Hey everyone. I have been doing some filming with my HV20. Put it all together in Sony Movie Studio Platnum 9. It seems like rendering to DVD has to go thru Sony DVD Architect. Going that route always ends up with blank DVD-RW's when i'm done. So i just started right clicking the MPEG file, and sending it to the DVD drive to burn. No third party software to run the burner. I'm using DVD-R's now and they do show a file when finished but i cannot get them to play on my DVD player. "No Play". I did give them to someone else and they play on theirs. Go figure.

I tried both MPEG1 and MPEG2 formats. Neither worked.

Do i need to try some other types of DVD's, or just get a newer player?
