Hi Noah;

As long as I have been hanging around at the cow questions about ripping DVD's have elicited nothing but scorn and sometimes rage. I would, however, like to mention that I am a busy DVD author who regularly has to legally rip DVD's for re-authoring for many major clients. The names of many of these companies who don't offer access to original footage for creating re-releases is something which has always amazed me.

This may not be normal but it does happen to me a lot and I suspect I am not alone.

Just my 2 cents. Dan
