I am importing XDCAM proxies and noticing all my files have asian characters in the filenames. I've noticed this issue was raised before at the 6.0 release, but thought it had been fixed.


Are there any known downsides to this? I am working in an environment with other MC 5.5 editors. Is there any fix? Should I be downgrading my MC immediately to 5.5 before embarking on injesting hundreds of hours of content for my TV show?
