Problem with P2 Export MC 4.02 macbook pro over AJ-PCD 20
by Jens Hoppe on Nov 6, 2009 at 12:13:12 am

Dear community,

i would like to export a avid sequenz (in this case HD AVC-I in 720p50) to a P2 Card over the AJ-PCD 20. The Export is only possible in DVCproHD - so far so good. But when I look in the CONTENTS folder on the P2 Card, the clip names have a very strange name - like: 0001BXî”.XML Thats sometimes creats a problem with other P2 devices - like the P2 Deck. By the way: the TC starts with 00:00:00:00

Does anyone have a idea why mac and P2 export is so difficult. Although the AVID MC has sometimes a problem with files over 4 GB?
I installed Paragon Plug in for write in NTFS, maybe thats the reason. Does anybody have experiance in write back to a P2 Device form a MAC?

On Windows it seams to be no problem?!

Looking forward to hear from you! :o)

Best Regards, Jens
