DNxDV Codec Problems
by

Im working on a Avid Media Composer v3.5.4 at NBC.
Some of the footage I'm trying to incorporate is SD and they are AVI files.
I need to upconvert everything to HD 1920x1080 but the AVIs use a codec that is not
avail on the PCs here. So I brought the AVIs home stuck them in AE and did the upconvert using
the DNxHD 145 8bit codec. When I open the new QTs on the edit PC the movie is missing the entire bottom half!! Its entirely black. The dimensions are still 1920x1080 but the bottom half of the QT is not there. The same movie plays back fine on my MacPro and my Macbook Pro. The mac codecs that I downloaded from AVid are current. I'm not sure of the QT codec version number on the PC.
This is destroying my workflow!!!
Any thoughts?
Thanks
Lou Borella
