Media Composer QT export settings
by Christine Elder on Nov 1, 2009 at 1:38:13 am

I need to figure out the correct QT export settings from Media Composer; the QT file I export will ultimately be imported into DVD Studio Pro (or some other authoring program) by the person who will be doing the DVD authoring.

Do these all of these export settings sound right?
Same as Source
color levels: 601/709
display aspect ratio: Native Dimensions

The one that's most confusing to me are the export options available for display aspect ratio, which are as follows: Native Dimensions, 4:3 Square, or 16:9 Square.

My project is 16:9, so I am wondering if I should be using 16:9 square instead of 'Native Dimensions'? But the final project is going to DVD so it needs to look good on TV and computers...

Any advice would be appreciated!
