David BraswellImport PNG sequence error

Using MC 2.8.3 / Adrenaline to cut a 1080/60i HD project. Having a problem importing one alpha PNG sequence, all others imported fine. Grafx were made in AE CS2. The error I get is:

Exception: ImportHIIP::ReadSamples -'image' is NULL after attempting to load animation frame.

I re-exported the sequence from AE to no avail.

Any clues?
