Avid OMF -> LogicPro 8

Searched and could find others with same problem, but no solution ....

My Sound Designer uses Nuendo, and we have worked out the successful way to get OMFs from Avid MC to his system.
Now a composer is also involved, who uses LogicPro 8 and he can't open the same OMFs that Nuendo can.

Does anyone have the magic formula for getting audio from MC to Logic??

(Seems that we can open my file in Nuendo, export a new OMF and THAT file will open in Logic. So there's a workaround, but I have to go through a 3rd party ...)
