DNxHD QT Codec issues between Mac and PC

We are attempting to use the DNxHD QuickTime codec on Mac graphics workstations as a way to get graphics files into the PC Avid MC and Symphony quickly. We want to use the DNxHD 145(1080i_5994) option. The resulting files import quickly and this could be a good way to go, however there seems to be an issue with this workflow.
We are seeing a big difference in files created on a Mac with QT using the DNxHD codec option, versus files created on a PC with QT and this codec option.
Specifically the brightness levels are much higher with the Mac QT files when imported into the PC Avids, and there are quantizing around font edges, and overall banding as well.
We are using the latest QT codecs: AvidCodecsLE_1.9MAC
Very few options to change in the export options area, and none of them make a difference to the above described issues.
Anybody have an idea on how to make the files match the same clip digitized from tape? If not, does anyone have a support contact at Avid that would take on this issue?
