Scan lines after rendering all over timeline

I am working with Avid Media Composer v.2.8.3, an HP xw8000 workstation with an Avid Mojo SDI, Medea 1TB hard drive and a NVIDIA Quadro 4980 XGL graphics card.
We are doing a very gfx intensive show and upon rendering the gfx we are getting scan lines all throughout the timeline. Avid has blamed every party except avid. We have reinstalled quicktime, Avid, sent hem system reports and nothing gets rid of the scan lines. This is also happening on our Mac G5 with Avid SDI mojo and Medea Raid.
What could be causing this? I don't get this at all with the Avid Adrenaline that has a Galaxy Raid.
