Shane, a huge annoyance to me as well. I've had to slow myself down (keyboard-intensive user from the linear days) to run FCP - even on a new 8-core Mac. However, when using Xpress Pro on my G4s i have no such sluggishness. My keystrokes are not ignored, I don't end up losing half my sequence because the computer got my in point but not the out point and hitting DELETE got rid of everything to the right of the in point...ARRGGH!!!

But I digress.
