AudioSuite - Creating Master Clips
by

Hello. I am having some trouble making sense of the Avid Handbook's explanation of how to create master clips in the AudioSuite. I have dragged my audio clip from the source monitor to my audiosuite window - but I have no track destination options, and the pulldown menu next to the "Master Clip" button only has the options of "none" and "clear menu". That is where I get stuck... and cannot make sense of how to move forward. Am I dragging the right clip to the audiosuite window? Do I drag from timeline or bin?
Basically - I just need some clarification on how to make a master clip of my audio - so I have the option of extending clips in trim mode after effects are applied.
Thank you!
