Hey Michael
[Michael Phillips]
"Did the 30i dubs have the same TC as the 720pHD original tapes?"
Yes
[Michael Phillips]
"Did you try modifiying the 30i SD sequence in a 1080i project?"
Great idea! I did and will try the dig this afternoon. it looked like the sources came across correct. This does mean doing an upconvert from the DVCPro deck into the Adrenaline, but we get a 1080i master...great
[Michael Phillips]
"In a 720p29.97 project, duplicate the SD sequence, put it into it’s own bin, right mouse click on the sequence, Modify, Set Format, select 720p29.97. This should create a new duplicate sequence with a 720p29.97 Format. Decompose the sequence to the desired resolution. Compare the 720p29.97 sequence to the SD sequence."
I'll take a look at this option if the 1080i solution doesn't work.
