Edit Share and 2GB file limit

Can an Avid Adrenaline on a PC with Edit Share be set up to handle files larger than 2 GB? This 2GB limit with HD is really a hassle with XDCam HD. Shooting with the Sony's 355s @ 35MB VBR that's only a few minutes. I understand that I can do proxy first but that's not always an option. I have work arounds but I'd like a solution to the 2GB limit unless its a PC thing.
