Can you do this in AVID timelines...

Well... been color correcting in FCP mostly these days...but am going to do Avid again now AND.

Can you with XPRESS take a clip from V1 and drag&duplicate it to trac V2 with modifiers keys and if so..HOW? (FCP does this easily actually)

Is the answer to match frame V1 and actually edit the same clip onto V2... seems silly really but is that the ONLY way?


Also... In AVID XPRESS, I want to matte a feathered circle around someones head but all I can find is MATTE tool and I can make a HARD edged square but I can't feather it. How can I accomplish this in AVID?
