Some newbe Media Composer questions
by Oded Erell on May 23, 2009 at 8:42:46 pm

Hi there,

I'm making the move from Adobe remiere Pro to Avid Media Composer 3.5,

And I have some basic questions:

(this maybe stupid...)
Does the app allways prompt "Your software has been successfully activated." and waits for confimation when started?
Can you make it skip that?

Can I regard the DNxHD 1:1 and DNxHD 1:1 10 bit as final mastering quality for HD?

What is the proper way to import footage that has higher resolution that the project format,
so you can make virtual camera moves like zoom in and pan and such?
Like using HD footage on an SD project?

Thanks in advance for any reply,

Oded
