Hi Colin,
It's normal that you cannot see the model in the Top, Left, Right camera. Since 3D Invigorator is a plug-in that is applied to a 2D Layer, the 3D is only "projected" to the Comp Camera.
As far as positioning images or videos to the imported model, 3D Invigorator uses the same X,Y,Z positions as After Effects. So if you're not sure where the imported model is positioned, go into the 3D Invigorator Set-Up window, and look in the Object Controls panel. Expand the "Info" controls, and you will be able to see the X,Y,Z coordinates for the imported 3D model.
It may be also easier to create a Plane (Primitive) in 3D Invigorator, match the position to the imported model, then apply the image/video as a texture map onto the Plane.
