I have been doing SergeĀ“s turorials and all the examples of uses of custom edges seem to be for symmetrical roundish sort of objects. I was wondering if it could be used also to make something a little bit more complex with custom edges in 2 directions, like an LCD screen. I'm not talking a simple box, but an actual detailed TV with a curved side and a curved top like this:

I've been playing around a bit and I don't seem to be getting anywhere so I just thought I'd ask and find out of it was possible at all before I waste my time. I had hoped to just get the general shape of the LCD going and then use layer maps and apply the images to the shape to "fake" the details.

thanks! anna
