Hi,

I don't really understand what is going wrong. You should be able to load the transparency map without any problem. I apologize if I am stating the obvious here, but did you drag and drop your material on your "Selected" object in the scene preview window or in the material palette?

Shoot me an e-mail with your project at (serge at nyc-visual dot com)

As to how I created the map, I simply used the layer mapping technique that allows me (when using a two comp view) to draw my map in one comp and see the result taking effect on my object in the second comp view.

I explained in details many different tricks on how you can perfectly map an object in IP/PA in the training DVD but generally you have to understand that objects (Depending on their form) have different mapping coordinates (Spherical, Cylindrical,Planar etc...) and understanding how Invigorator/PA maps the faces and edge of an object is as important. Make a search in this forum and you will find many tips on mapping;-)

Salut,
Serge
