When I choose export, I can't save it as an AI file.

I am so confused by this issue. When I hit save, I have no "Illustrator Options" pop-up and no checkbox for compression settings.

If I try to import the file into ProAnimator, it gives me the "no vector paths..make sure Compression is turned OFF" error message.
