Here in PAL land I've been advised that Motion JPEG B is the best to use and certainly it gives a good down convert. However, that is with the HDx board that I'm still using in my Media 100, I'm told that the new AJA system is not as good with down converts. Problem is that the HDx board will not run with the new versions in the Intel chipped Macs.
