Producer stopped existing as of Media 100 Suite v1.0. It's just one install now that works with hardware if you've got it or runs as software only if you don't. So...

Exactly what version are you running?

You've overlapped the clips in the A/B tracks but have you created a transition in the FX track? Try double-clicking on the transition arrow between the two clips and see if the Transitions tab comes to life then.
