That's just the name of the codec. I have no idea WHY they named it that way, but that's what you're seeing.

To reassure yourself, try the following in Media 100:

- Load a clip into the Edit Suite.

- Hold down the Command (apple) key while tapping on the left and right arrow keys. This will step through fields on interlaced media.

- If it's interlaced, you will see that it takes two taps of the arrow to move the timecode one frame.

- If it's progressive, one tap of the arrow will advance the timecode whether you are holding the Command key or not.
