Yes. And with the next release there only is a unified software version, which can be used with hardware and without. So if you invest into the new software, it does not matter if you decide to add e.g. an Aja card or Matrox box later.

How did you stripe the drives? With DiskUtility? Or with a 3rd party software? If with DiskUtility, you should be able to simply put them into a differen MacPro and they should show up.
