That's encouraging. It would be great if Media 100 would work a deal to make a package of Media 100 software and the AJA Kona card. I really think that would sell (heck, I know some FCP users who might switch back!). Boris is not a hardware company, and AJA already is making cards for the newer Macs. Integrate some more of Boris' compositing strengths and you might have a real competitor to Final Cut Pro. Competition makes everyone better.

Don't get me wrong, I love using Media 100 HD in a 2.7 Ghz Mac, and it probably will meet my needs for the next three years. But I'd like to think there's a future for the company. I don't see Boris making a PCI-express card. Doing a deal with a respected company like AJA makes a lot of sense to me, and would keep Media 100 from being a good but ultimately dead-end product.
