Yes, this is a very good DVCAM deck. Very fast to cue (I would say faster than most Digital Betacam decks...), compact size and very reliable. The one we use at my job has the SDI card and will insert/assemble. No wonder it's labled as a recorder. In fact I didn't know that there was a player only configuration for this deck. Audio inserts makes a little glitch at the insert point, tho...
