JVC Everio GZ-HM30 ...60 fps only or not???

I've previously owned a standard-def JVC Everio a few years back, which as most JVC camcorders shoots in an awful.MOD format. The new HD line, however, seems pretty good for my simply running around purposes.

My question is, does the GZ-HM30 line only shoot HD in 60fps??

If this is true, what is the rationale? I would've thought for sure 30fps would be super easy to add on as a standard feature.

Does anybody know of any Everio camcorders that shoot both 30 and 60 fps??
