JVC GZ-HM200 w/iMovie8

Hi New Here!

What my problem is I can not import my video using iMovie8! PC is a G5 OS is Leopard. When the iMovie screen comes up it say camcorder is not connect ! Already talked to JVC Tech and the steps they gave me I followed and it will still not import. On the Desktop it shows the USB icon for the camcorder as "Everio_SD".

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
