JVC ProHD Problems
by

Due to the number of people reporting problems with their JVC ProHD cameras I would like to start a thread where people can list their working setups and where others can post their broken setups.
The format should work something like this:
Camera: JVC HD250u
Settings: 720p 24p
Editor: Final Cut Studio 6.0.2
Issue: FCP doesn't recognize my camera. Footage from the firestore looks bad in FCP. When I connect my HD250 directly to an HD monitor and playback, everything looks great, it's just in FCP that everything seems to breaks down.
This way JVC/apple/adobe/etc can directly see the issues. Please post working scenarios if you have them. There is certainly something fishy happening with the ProHD lineup considering all of the problematic posts from users, including me. My above post is not fictional.
