Carlos Martínez TrabalPixelated lines while capturing off my HDR FX1
by on Apr 18, 2012 at 2:35:47 pm

Hi. I've been all around looking for a similar issue to mine unsuccesfully, I hope you can help.
Im running Windows 7 Ultimate. Intel Core 2 @2.2 GHz with an NVIDIA GeForce G210M.
Issue is:
I recoded on 1080i and it looks good on LCD monitor of camera and on my monitor straight off camera, but it looks as if it had "a bad tape" or "pixelated lines" on computer.
I do not have an issue with connecting or capturing, as i have tried capturing with HDV SPlit/CapsDVHS/Premiere Pro CS5/ and using the Tape Importer on my Sony Vaio (it loads up automatically when I turn camera On to VCR) with the exact same results.
My settings are as I've read they should: HDV/DV to HDV and iLink Conv set to Off.
I checked and installed the Legacy 1334 driver for my port.

I've run out of options and think the only thing I can think of is either a bad cable, bad tape(yet it wouldn't make sense) or a bad connector. Yet, I have done this once in the past with the same materials (different tape) and had good results, can you please help?
Thank You very much for your time.

Carlos
