Help needed!!
I've been having some trouble with video from my Sony PD 170. At first I thought is was the connection between the camera and my Avid Media Composer editing software, but the more I investigate, the more I think it's the camera. I'm getting horizontal lines in my video. Looks similar to when the heads need cleaning. I've cleaned the heads then shot some test video and the lines are still there. This is an older camera, could my heads just be bad? If so, what can be done? If not, what else could be causing this problem?
I’ve been working to correct this for weeks! Any help would be greatly appreciated!
