You know, you can RECORD in the DVCAM mode on any tape.

Just switch your camera to DVCAM mode in the menu.

At DVCAM speed:

It will eat a whole "60 min" DV tape in approx. 40 minutes.
It will eat a whole "40 min" DVCAM tape in approx. 40 minutes. <<<< Revised line.<<<

It will eat a whole "80 min" DV tape in approx. 60 minutes.
It will eat a whole "63 min" DVCAM tape in approx. 60 (63) minutes.
