Since you are using the house sound into your mixers you have to make sure their levels aren't too hot, because otherwise adjustments down the line wouldn't matter because the distortion will still be there, so you have to drop the input levels to a more friendly level. I have a couple of Audio-Technica switchable XLR attenuators and I read levels with a Phonic PAA3
