Unfortunately, no work-around exists for such a capture with that camera. Your best bet would be to try to get an alternate camera or deck for loading. Even a "pawn shop special" will load the video via Firewire/iLink at the samee quality as that cam, but the USB port does not have a widget/work-around to my knowledge.
