Organizing Event Library per project..

Hello,
I am new to FCPX and my question is..
1. I created one project and created multiple Events as per my project needs. Now I am done with my project and I am starting a new project. But when I create a new project FCPX opens the old Event library anyways. I don't want this Events associated with my new project anymore. How can I do this?
I want ro organize in a way such that a event library is associated with a project only? Can this be done?

2. When sending the project to the compressor to create a the final movie file, does all the contents in the event library also get included in the final file or only the contents in the timeline gets exported?
