Will GranzierText Layer Issues

Hi All

Ok this has me going frikken nuts here... Simple....
Video Shot in HD 720 50 P in MOV - JVC HM100

Adding a Lensflare title gen over that. Then I want to move the title probably to the lower 3rd of the screen and add a logo above it... As soon as I click the reposition tab... and move the title... The clip moves with it... Its almost as if FCP attaches the Gen to the clip and you can't separate it....

I have also noticed if you add a custom title and add say a blur in effect... It applies it to flipped everything the clip and everything that is beneath it..... WHAT GIVES
