"When you had selected your clip and make it a favorite with the "F" key a green line appears over your clip. If you click that green line, your IN and OUT points associated with that favorite shows up. NICE!

I hadn't realised it actually did this until a recent discussion on the other FCPX forum, I now use it all the time
