Custom shape masks and motion tracking in Final Cut Pro X

Is there a way to create custom shapes for masks to color grade footage in FCP X that you can motion track like you could do in Apple Color from FCP 3 Suite? Or, is this something I need to do in Motion 5? Since I reformatted my Macs with Lion and then installed FCP X, Motion 4, and Compressor 4 first, I am unable to install FCP 7 Suite...so I can't use Apple's Color program I liked a lot....what do I suppose to do???
