Thanks for your reply. MX2004 was what I had been using, but director was not really core competency for me so never really needed to upgrade. Out project requires full PDF functionality - meaning printing, page view etc... We had used Impressario from INM for that in the past.

Overall pretty basic work, excepting I think the PDF stuff. As this type of project seems to roll in every couple of years question is does it make sense to move to another authoring environment.
