Final touches and checklist?

Hey there guys,
Been working on a massive project for the past couple of years – an interactive DVD-Rom for PC’s only - and everything is almost complete and ready for duplication.
Since thousands of copies will be duplicated and distributed, there is simply no room for errors on the disc etc and a lot of money rests on the project.
So I was just wondering if any of you guys had some handy advice on any final/standard checks that you usually carry out on large project like this before creating the master disc for duplication etc?
Obviously a great deal of testing would be required, protecting the original director files, final projector created and xtras added etc. But I was wondering if there was a standard checklist of some sort that developers go through before a master disc is handed to the client?
Director MX 2004 doesn't seem to have a feature which allows you to automatically check the entire project files for any bugs etc so having to manually test the project is becoming really time consuming. Do you guys know of a quick way director can check the entire project to ensure that no sly or hidden bugs exist? As once the project is duplicated, we can't simply release a "patch" to resolve any issues so its crucial that everything is perfect.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks in advance,
Darren
